But as time passed by, these types of machinery are now simple for us. This is because of the fast pace of modernization that positively and negatively affected humans in various ways possible. We tend to get by these technologies, and thus making us more dependent yet creative. Moreover, these led to a bigger image of what is known to be impossible before.
Aside from those childhood memoirs that brought us joy, have we not noticed anything familiar? Have we not noticed that the cartoon characters in the likes from Transformers and other robotic figures that we see are now turning into life?

See, robots are like humans. They were programmed to do work that humans can also do, but at the same time what humans cannot do. Robotics have prerequisites. It encompasses mechanical and electrical engineering, along with computer science and programming as concepts for database projects and other control systems. With these, you can know how to program a robot or a device, consequently making it perform its tasks.
Mechanical engineering is responsible for the device’s outlook and is also paired with efforts like motion sensors and control devices. Electrical engineering, on the other hand, involves programming and allows devices to be tested before public exposure or final product testing. Both engineering majors ensure the capabilities of the machine with their respective roles.
The common misconception with robots and artificial intelligence is vaguely proportionate. Some people would say that robotics need AI, while others would say otherwise. The truth is, AI is like a formatted brain, while robotics involves physical types of machinery to operate. Both can perform but on different platforms and separate pedestals.
However, robotics and AI can work together. Some byproducts today have AI inputs in modeled pieces of machinery, enabling performance, and conscience at the same time. This process will also be embedded with Machine Learning, a subprogram of AI that enables a program to detect repetitive actions, and encoding the data for the next activity.
This technology is so aspiring, that we only see these in movies and on TV. Hanson Robotics, a Hong-Kong-based company had created a seemingly creepy humanoid that was named Sophia. This was an incredible breakthrough in science, as Sophia is an AI robot. She can move and socialize with a human being – both what robotics and AI can do.
Indeed, the future has become very iridescent in our eyes. We cannot expect anything to be developed as fast as we can imagine, but sometimes we can just blink for a second or two and another discovery has been created. Robotics, to be specific, had been productively captivating the world that we know today.
These may be scary for most of us because some traditionalists would disagree about making robots as part of human work. They may think it will be the death of our race as machines might take over our abilities dependently, but let us also think wisely. Having these would be much of a benefit in making more inventions that we might need in the forthcoming.
